Expansion and modernisation of the military hospital in Lublin – a new contract of Budimex SA

The Management Board of Budimex SA would like to announce that on 24 September 2015 a contract was concluded with the 1st Military Research Hospital and Polyclinic, Independent Public Health Care Unit in Lublin for the construction of a new hospital building intended for the central operating theatre with facilities, hospital wards and a helipad, as well as an extension of the main hospital building and changing the roof structure.

• Contract value: PLN 46,966,808.94 net.
• Works commencement date: 1 October 2015
• Works completion date: 25 September 2017
• Guarantee period: 60 months
• Financial terms and conditions:
  • Payment: 30 days of receipt of a VAT invoice by the ordering party.
  • Performance bond: 10% of gross remuneration.
• Penalties payable by the contractor:
  • 10% of gross remuneration for the ordering party’s withdrawal from the contract due to reasons attributable to the contractor.
  • 10% of gross remuneration for the contractor’s withdrawal from the contract due to reasons not attributable to the ordering party.
• The ordering party reserves the right to seek damages under general applicable rules if the amount of loss sustained exceeds the amount of the stipulated penalty.

The contract value exceeds 10% of the equity of Budimex SA.
