Construction of the Kraków Zabłocie–Kraków Krzemionki railway connection — new contract of Budimex SA

The Management Board of Budimex SA announces that on 16 September 2015 the consortium of Budimex SA (Consortium leader with 95% of shares) and Ferrovial Agroman SA with its registered office in Madrid (Consortium partner with 5% of shares) signed with PKP Polskie Linie Kolejowe SA with its registered office in Warsaw a contract for the execution of construction works within the project under Operational Programme Infrastructure and Environment 7.1–55 “Construction of the Kraków Zabłocie–Kraków Krzemionki railway connection”.

• Contract value: net PLN 209,738,816.98
• Works commencement date: on the date of concluding the contract.
• Works completion date: 24 months from the conclusion of the contract.
• Guarantee period: 10 years.
• Financial terms and conditions:
  • Payment: 30 days of receipt of a VAT invoice by the Employer.
  • Performance bond: 10% of gross price.
• Maximum penalties payable by the Contractor: 30% of gross price.
• The Employer reserves the right to demand supplemental damages up to the amount of the actual loss that was incurred, in accordance with the provisions of the Polish Civil Code.

The contract value exceeds 10% of the equity of Budimex SA.
