Construction of the Kraków Zabłocie – Kraków Krzemionki railway connection – decision on choosing the bid of Budimex SA

The Management Board of Budimex SA announces that on 3 August 2015 it was informed by Polskie Koleje Państwowe SA with its registered office in Warsaw that the bid placed by the consortium of Budimex SA (Consortium leader with 95% of shares) and Ferrovial Agroman SA with its registered office in Madrid (Consortium partner with 5% of shares) was selected as the most advantageous one in the public tender procedure entitled: Performance of construction works within the project under Operational Programme Infrastructure and Environment 7.1–55 “Construction of the Kraków Zabłocie – Kraków Krzemionki railway connection.”

• Bid value:net PLN 209,738,816.98.
• Works commencement date: on the date of concluding the contract.
• Works completion date: 24 months from the conclusion of the contract.
• Guarantee period: 10 years.
• Financial terms and conditions:
  • Payment: 30 days of receipt by the ordering party of the relevant VAT invoice.
  • Performance bond: 10% of gross bid value.
• Maximum penalties payable by the contractor: 30% of gross bid value.
• The ordering party reserves the right to demand supplemental damages up to the amount of the actual loss that was incurred, in accordance with the provisions of the Civil Code.

The bid value exceeds 10% of the equity of Budimex SA.
