Denitrification and desulfurization systems in EC Siekierki in Warsaw – information about the selection of the bid of Budimex SA

The Management Board of Budimex SA announces that on 8 December 2014 it was informed about the selection of the bid of consortium of Andritz Energy & Environment GmbH with its registered office in Raaba, Austria (the consortium’s leader with 49% of shares) and Budimex SA (partner with 51% of shares) as the most advantageous bid in the open tender procedure organised by PGNiG Termika SA with its registered office in Warsaw leading to the award of the public contract for “The delivery and assembly of the flue denitrification plant and the modernization of the desulfurization plant for the K2 boiler at EC Siekierki.”

• Bid value: PLN 62,950,000.00 net.
• Works commencement date: immediately after the signing of the agreement.
• Works completion date: 105 weeks – plant handed over for operation; 25 months – final acceptance.
• Terms of guarantee:
  • Base guarantee period – 36 months;
  • Extended guarantee period – 60 months for catalytic cartridges, chemical resistant linings, anticorrosion protection, thermal and acoustic insulation and other construction works.
• Financial terms and conditions:
  • Advance payment: 10% of gross bid value.
  • Payment: 30 days from the receipt of the VAT invoice by the Employer.
  • Performance bond: 10% of gross bid value.
• Maximum penalties: 20% of net agreement value.
• The payment of the contractual penalties excludes the right to claim compensation exceeding the amount of those penalties.

The bid value exceeds 10% of the equity of Budimex SA.
