Modernisation of the Water Mains in Warsaw - selection of Budimex SA’s tender

The Management Board of Budimex SA notifies that on 23 October 2013 it was informed about the selection of the tender of the consortium of Budimex SA and Cadagua SA (a company of the Ferrovial Group) with its registered office in Bilbao, Spain (leader: Budimex SA – 50% share in the consortium; partner: Cadagua SA – 50% share in the consortium) as the most favourable one in the open public procurement procedure run by the Miejskie Przedsiębiorstwo Wodociągów i Kanalizacji w Warszawie [The Municipal Water Mains and Sewage Company in Warsaw] for the “Modernisation of technology at the Water Mains Company, Stage II – the second engineering line”.

• Value of the tender: PLN 64,836,569.00 net.
• Works commencement date: as soon as the construction site is handed over.
• Works completion date: 30 November 2015.
• Guarantee period: 18 months.
• Financial conditions:
  • Advance: 20% of the tender gross value;
  • Payment: 30 days of the invoice submission to the Employer;
  • Performance bond in the form of a bank guarantee: 10% of the tender gross value;
• Maximum contractual penalties: 20% of the gross remuneration.
• The Employer reserves the right to claim damages on general principles, if the value of loss exceeds the agreed contractual penalty.

The value of the tender exceeds 10% of Budimex SA equity capital.
