Management Centre for Innovation and Transfer of Technology of the Warsaw University of Technology (Politechnika Warszawska) - a new contract for Budimex SA

The Management Board of Budimex SA hereby announces that on 19 September 2013 an agreement was signed with the Warsaw University of Technology, with its registered office in Warsaw, regarding the realisation of the Management Centre for Innovation and Transfer of Technology investment, under the design-build method.

• Tender amount: PLN 43,860,000 net
• Date of commencing the design works: on the day of signing the agreement
• Date of completing the works: 23 months from the date of signing the agreement
• Warranty period: 3 years. Delivered and built-in materials and equipment shall be covered by the manufacturer's warranty, which shall be, however, not shorter than 12 months
• Financial terms:
  • Payment: 28 days from the delivery of the invoice to the procuring party
  • Bank performance bond: 5% of the gross tender price
• Penalty amounts paid by the contractor:
  • 0.1% of the contractual net compensation for each day of delay in the execution of the object of the contract or its part, on the part of the object of the contract to which such delay relates
  • 0.1% of the contractual net compensation for each day of delay, counted from the lapse of the term specified for the remedy of defects discovered during the warranty or guarantee period, not shorter than 7 workdays
  • 10% of the contractual net compensation for withdrawal from the agreement by reason of causes attributable to the contractor
• The procuring party may claim complementary damages that exceed the amount of contractual penalties, up to the amount of the actual damage sustained

The contract value exceeds 10% of the equity capital of Budimex SA.
