Centre for Management of Innovation and Technology Transfer at the Warsaw University of Technology - selection of the bid by Budimex SA

The Management Board of Budimex SA announces that on 01 July 2013 it was informed of the selection of the Budimex SA bid by the Warsaw University of Technology in the open tender proceedings for: Implementation of the Centre for Management of Innovation and Technology Transfer at the Warsaw University of Technology project, in accordance with the design-build system.

• Value of the bid: PLN 43,860,000 net
• Commencement date: design works will begin on the date of concluding the contract
• Deadline: 23 months from the date of concluding the contract
• Guarantee period: 3 years Delivered and fixed materials and equipment shall be covered by the manufacturer's warranty, for a period of not less than 12 months
• Financial terms and conditions:
  • Term of payment: 28 days from the delivery of the invoice to the Contracting Authority
  • Bank performance bond: 5% of the gross offered price.
• Penalties payable by the Contractor:
  • 0.1% of the net remuneration stipulated in the contract for each day of delay in executing the Subject of the Contract or its part
  • 0.1% of the net remuneration stipulated in the contract for each day of delay, starting from the deadline set for the removal of defects revealed during the warranty for defects or quality assurance, not shorter than 7 working days
  • 10% of the net remuneration remuneration stipulated in the contract, for contract rescission or termination for reasons attributable to the Contractor
• The Contracting Authority reserves the right to supplementary compensation in excess of the amount of contractual penalties, to the amount of damage actually suffered

The contract value exceeds 10% of the equity of Budimex SA.
