Expansion of the Border Crossing in Zosin - a new Contract for Budimex SA

The Management Board of Budimex SA announces that on 06 June 2013, a contract was signed concerning the expansion of the border crossing in Zosin, stage II, with Lubelski Zarząd Obsługi Przejść Granicznych (Lublin Executive Board for Border Crossings), based in Chełm.
This is the third contract concluded with this contracting party within the last 12 months. It has a net value of PLN 22,674,505.89. The previous contracts were concluded on: 28.08.2012 – for the construction of buffer parking for trucks at the Road Border Crossing In Dorohusk – stage I, in accordance with the design-build system, with a net value of PLN 13,805,286.99; and on 12.10.2012 – for the construction of a border crossing in Dołhobyczów – stage I, part IV, concluded by the consortium of Budimex SA (leader: 32% share in the consortium) and T4B Sp. z o.o. based in Warsaw (partner: 68% in the consortium), with a net value of PLN 34,439,862.79.

Detailed information on the contract for the construction of a border crossing in Dołhobyczów – stage I, part IV:

• Commencement date: 15.10.2012
• Deadline: 30.11.2013
• Guarantee period: 36 months
• Financial terms and conditions:
  • Term of payment: 30 days from the delivery of the invoice to the Contracting Authority
  • Performance bond: 10% of the gross contract value
  • Maximum penalties: 10% of the gross contract value
• The Parties have the right to claim compensation pursuant to general terms if the value of the damage exceeds the stipulated penalty.
• Total net value of contracts concluded with this contracting party within the last 12 months: PLN 70,919,655.67.
