Design and construction of the S61 express road between Szczuczyn and Budzisko (state border) divided into tasks: Task 3: section between Wysokie junction and Raczki municipality

The Management Board of Budimex SA announces that on 4 July 2018,  the company concluded with Olsztyn Branch of the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways the contract for the “Design and construction of the S61 express road between Szczuczyn and Budzisko (state border) divided into tasks: Task 3: section between Wysokie junction and Raczki”.

The Company announced that the Budimex SA bid was selected by the Employer as the most advantageous one in the procurement procedure in the current report No 4/2018 of 13 February 2018.

Contract value: PLN 393,729,848 net

Commencement date: on the date of Contract conclusion with the Contractor

Completion date: 29 months from the Contract date

Guarantee period for main works: between 5 and 10 years

Statutory warranty period: 60 months

Maximum penalties payable by the Contractor: The total value of Contractual Penalties due for the Employer shall not exceed 20% of the Accepted Contract Amount

Advance payment: from 5% to 10% of the Gross Accepted Contract Amount

Payment conditions: within 30 days of the date of delivery of VAT invoices to the Employer, issued for the amounts certified in Payment Certificates

Bank performance bond: 10% of the Gross Accepted Contract Amount

The Employer reserves the right to claim supplemental damages in excess of Contractual Penalties to the amount of the actual loss that was incurred or could be incurred due to the improper performance of the Contract by the Contractor.

Other terms and conditions of the contract do not differ from the market standards.

The Contract value exceeds the threshold of PLN 127,386 thousand.
