Budimex – the Patron of Polish Architecture

The jury received over 200 works. The participants could choose from among three tasks. The first one was to create a conceptual design: Home for the young – new generation’s dreams. The second task consisted in creating a conceptual design for the Residential estate of the 21st century. The third task, proposed by Budimex, the patron of the competition, was to develop a Concept for revitalising the neighbourhoods of Fort Mokotów, taking into account the development guidelines and conditions.
The finalists of the category Concept for revitalising the neighbourhoods of Fort Mokotów were two students: Iwona Sosna and Anna Maciejewska.
The organiser of the Young Architects Competition announced during the program is Builder monthly magazine. Its main objective is to educate and promote young talented architects. The competition is open to participants nationwide. Participants may include students of the first and second cycle of architecture and urban design studies at public and private universities, as well as graduates of these faculties under the age of 30.
The competition results were announced during the Closing Gala of the Builder Awards in February this year.
