Continuation of the construction of the A4 motorway for the section between the Krzyż interchange and the Dębica Pustynia interchange - a new contract for the consortium of Heilit+Woerner Sp. z o.o. and Budimex SA

The Management Board of Budimex S.A. announces that on 7 May 2013 the consortium of Heilit+Woerner Sp. z o.o. (leader: 50% share) and Budimex S.A. (partner: 50% share) signed a contract with the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways, Branch in Krakow, for the continuation of the construction of the A4 Tarnów-Rzeszów motorway for the section between the Krzyż interchange and the Dębica Pustynia interchange, km 502+796.97 to approx. 537+550.

• Net contract value: PLN 798,001,651.66
• Commencement date: not later than 28 days from the date of signing the contract
• Deadline: 18 months from the date of signing the contract
• Guarantee period: 10 years
• Financial terms and conditions:
  • Advance payment: 10% of the approved gross contractual amount
  • Term of payment: 30 days from the delivery of the invoice to the Contracting Authority
  • Performance bond: 10% of the approved gross contractual amount
• Maximum penalty amount: 20% of the approved gross contractual amount
• The parties may seek damages in excess of the amount of the stipulated liquidated damages

The contract value exceeds 10% of the equity of Budimex SA.
