Construction of Pomeranian Metropolitan Railway, Stage I - a new contract for the consortium of Budimex SA and Ferrovial Agroman SA

The Management Board of Budimex SA announces that on 7 May 2013 the consortium composed of Budimex SA (leader: 95% share in the consortium) and Ferrovial Agroman SA (partner: 5% in the consortium) signed a contract with Pomorska Kolej Metropolitalna SA, with its registered office in Gdańsk, for the Design and Construction of Pomeranian Metropolitan Railway, Stage I - Revitalisation of Kolej Kokoszkowska.

• Net contract value: PLN 582,225,071.59
• Commencement date: not later than 42 days from the date of signing the contract
• Deadline: 30.04.2015
• Guarantee period: 60 months
• Financial terms and conditions:
  • Advance payment: 10% of the gross offered price
  • Term of payment: 30 days from the delivery of the invoice to the Contracting Authority
  • Bank performance bond: 10% of the gross offered price
• Maximum penalties paid by the Contractor: 10% of the gross offered price
• The Contracting Authority may seek damages in excess of the amount of the stipulated liquidated damages

The contract value exceeds 10% of the equity of Budimex SA.
