The design and construction of the S14 express road of the West Ring Road of Łódź

The Management Board of Budimex notifies that on 14 March 2018, Budimex SA received a letter from the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways, Branch in Łódź, informing that the consortium’s bid of Budimex SA – the consortium leader (50%) and Strabag Sp. z o. o. – the consortium partner (50%) was considered the most favourable in the tender procedure concerning: The design and construction of the S14 express road of the West Ring Road of Łódź. Ex. A – Section I junction “Łódź Lublinek” – junction “Łódź Teofilów” Ex. B – Section II junction “Łódź Teofilów” (without a junction) – N91 in Słowik in the scope of part No 1 of the order: “The design and construction of the S14 express road of the West Ring Road of Łódź Ex. A – Section I junction “Łódź Lublinek” – junction “Łódź Teofilów” The aforementioned information does not mean selecting the Consortium bid as the most advantageous, because the procedure concerning the tender evaluation has not yet been finally completed and that the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways request that Budimex SA to submit, by 26 March 2018, declarations and documents confirming the circumstances referred to in Article 25(1) of the Public Procurement Law, up-to-date as of the day of their submission.

Contract value: PLN 456,748,863.00 net.

Commencement date: from the contract date

Completion date: 32 months from the date of the Contract conclusion, including obtaining the permit for use. The implementation time does not include winter periods, (i.e. from 15 December to 15 March). The design time includes winter periods (i.e. from 15 December to 15 March).

Guarantee period is different for various work components and is between 5 and 10 years.

Statutory warranty period: 60 months

Advance payment: 5-10%

Payment terms: up to 30 days from the date of delivery to the customer of VAT invoices

Performance guarantee: 10% of the accepted gross contractual amount

Other contractual conditions are not different from market standards.
