Expansion of the Dworzec Drzewny Quay at the Port of Gdańsk – Budimex SA bid rated highest

The Management Board of Budimex SA announces that on 20 March 2018, the Management Board of Morski Port Gdańsk SA informed the Company that its bid was rated highest in the tender procedure for the “Expansion of the Dworzec Drzewny Quay at the Port of Gdańsk” as well as that the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways requested that Budimex SA submit, by 30 March 2018, declarations and documents confirming the circumstances referred to in Article 25(1) of the Public Procurement Law, up-to-date as on the day of their submission. The aforementioned information does not mean selecting the bid of Budimex SA as the most advantageous, because the procedure concerning the tender evaluation has not yet been finally completed.

Bid value: PLN 153,706,813.35 net.

Works commencement date: no later than 30 days after the date of contract conclusion

Works completion date: 96 weeks from the contract date

Guarantee period: 60 months

Advance payment: none

Payment terms: 30 days from the day of delivery of a correct invoice to the Employer by the Contractor

Bank performance bond: 10% of the Accepted Gross Contract Amount

Contractual penalties payable by the Contractor do not deviate from market standards

If a contractual penalty charged in accordance with the principles of the contract does not cover the entire damage suffered, the Employer may request supplemental damages on the general terms specified in the Civil Code.

The bid value exceeds the threshold of PLN 111,446 thousand net.
