Selection of Budimex bid by General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways – S61 express road

The Management Board of Budimex SA announces that on 13 February 2018, it was informed by the Olsztyn Branch of the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways about the selection of the Company’s bid as the most advantageous one in the procurement procedure for the “Design and construction of the S61 express road between Szczuczyn and Budzisko (state border) divided into tasks: Task 3: section between Wysokie junction and Raczki”.

Contract value: PLN 393,729,848 net

Works commencement date: on the date of Contract conclusion with the Contractor.

Works completion date: 29 months from the Contract date.

Guarantee period is different for various work components and is between 5 and 10 years.

Statutory warranty for defects period: 60 months

Advance payment: from 5% to 10% of the Accepted Contract Amount.

Payment conditions: within 30 days of the date of delivery of VAT invoices to the Employer, issued for the amounts certified in Payment Certificates

Bank performance bond: 10% of bid value.

The total value of contractual penalties due for the Employer shall not exceed 20% of the Accepted Gross Contract Amount. 

Penalties to be paid by the Employer: 15% of the Accepted Contract Amount for withdrawal from the contract due to reasons attributable to the Employer.

The bid value exceeds the threshold of PLN 111,446 thousand.
