New building for the Chemistry Faculty at the Jagiellonian University in Krakow - a new contract for Budimex SA

The Management Board of Budimex SA announces that on 18 July 2013 the consortium composed of Budimex SA (leader: 98.5% share in the consortium) and Mostostal Kraków SA (partner, 100% controlled subsidiary of Budimex SA: 1.5% share in the consortium) and the Jagiellonian University in Krakow signed a contract dated 17.07.2013 for the construction of a building for the Faculty of Chemistry of the Jagiellonian University on the Campus of the 600th Restoration Anniversary of the Jagiellonian University.

• Net contract value: PLN 130,857,105.09
• Commencement date: on the date of concluding the contract
• Deadline: 24 months from the date of concluding the contract
• Term of guarantee: 120 months for roof structure, windows and exterior door profiles; 36 months for other works
• Financial terms and conditions:
  • Term of payment: 30 days from the delivery of the invoice to the Contracting Authority
  • Performance bond: 10% of the gross contract value
• Maximum penalties: 30% of the gross contract value
• The Parties have the right to claim compensation pursuant to general terms if the value of the damage exceeds the stipulated penalty

The contract value exceeds 10% of the equity of Budimex SA.
