Construction of D1 Bratislava Triblavina (“Zhotovenie stavby D1 Bratislava-Triblavina”) — selection of the bid of Budimex S.A.

The Management Board of Budimex S.A. announces that on 8 July 2022, Národná diaľničná spoločnosť, a. s. with its registered office in Bratislava, Slovakia, selected the bid of Budimex S.A. in the tender procedure for: “Construction of D1 Bratislava - Triblavina, Extension in Accordance with the FIDIC Contractual Conditions – “Yellow Book"” (“Zhotovenie stavby D1 Bratislava-Triblavina, rozšírenie v zmysle zmluvných podmienok FIDIC – “žltá kniha”).

Bid value: EUR 110,850,897.65 net

Works commencement date: from the date of signing the contract

Works completion date: 36 months from the Commencement Date

Guarantee period for the main works: 5 years

Warranty period: 12 months from the date indicated in the Work Acceptance Certificate

Payment terms: 30 days from the day of delivery of a correctly issued VAT invoice and the required documents to the Ordering Party by the Contractor.

Bank performance bond: 10% of the Accepted Gross Contract Amount

Essential terms of contract, specific for the contract: FIDIC “Yellow Book”

Maximum amount of contractual penalty paid by the Contractor: 50% of the Accepted Gross Contract Amount

The law of the Slovak Republic shall apply.

Other terms and conditions of the contract do not differ from the market standards.

The bid value exceeds the threshold of PLN 158,224 thousand net.
