Indication of the group of investors to whom exclusivity was granted in the process of reviewing strategic options of the development segment – delayed information

The Management Board of Budimex SA (“Budimex”), with reference to current report No 42/2020 of 3 July 2020, report No 53/2020 of 28 August 2020, report No 57/2020 of 29 September 2020, report No 68/2020 of 24 November 2020, report No 73/2020 of 30 December 2020 and report No 10/2021 of 15 February 2021, discloses to the public an announcement whose disclosure was delayed pursuant to Article 17(4) of Regulation (EU) No 596/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 16 April 2014 on market abuse (market abuse regulation) and repealing Commission Directives 2003/124/EC, 2003/125/EC and 2004/72/EC (MAR), i.e. informs that on 30 December 2020 the Management Board of Budimex S.A. granted exclusivity in the process of reviewing strategic options of the development segment to the following group of investors:

Crestyl Real Estate s.r.o.

Cornerstone Partners sp. z o.o.

Heimstaden Investment CEE s.r.o.

In connection with the ongoing review of strategic options for the development segment, Budimex considered this information to be important from the investors' perspective and, therefore, deemed it appropriate to classify it as confidential information. In the opinion of Budimex, delaying the disclosure of the names of entities who had been granted exclusivity was in the legitimate interest of Budimex, as disclosure of such information could prejudice the legitimate interests of Budimex and adversely affect (from the Issuer’s point of view) the outcome and conduct of the negotiation process.

As the negotiations have been concluded, Budimex communicates this information to the public.
