Construction of the Integrated Communication Centre (ICC) for the Lublin Functional Area (LFA) – tasks 1, 3 and 4 - the bid of Budimex S.A. evaluated the highest

The Management Board of Budimex S.A. announces that on 20 October 2020, the Road and Bridge Authority [Zarząd Dróg i Mostów] in Lublin, on behalf of the Ordering Parties: the Lublin Municipality, the Road and Bridge Authority in Lublin and the Lublin Public Transport Authority, informed the Company that its bid had been evaluated the highest in the tender procedure for the construction of the Integrated Communication Centre (ICC) for the Lublin Functional Area (LFA) – tasks 1, 3 and 4.

The aforementioned information does not mean selecting the bid of Budimex S.A. as the most advantageous one, as the procedure concerning the bid evaluation has not yet been finally completed.

Bid value: 188,187,712.00 PLN net

In the last 12 months, the total value of orders with the Ordering Parties (including the value of annexes to contracts concluded more than one year ago and the following bid) amounted to PLN 194,982,050.42 net. 

The highest-valued order is the aforementioned bid.

Terms of the highest-valued contract:

Bid value: 188,187,712.00 PLN net

Works commencement date: 14 days from the date of signing the contract

Works completion date:  29 July 2022

Guarantee period: 60 months

Warranty period: 60 months

Advance payments: up to PLN 20 million, the first advance may be paid after completion and settlement of works worth at least PLN 10 million

Payment terms: 30 days from the day of service of a correctly issued VAT invoice to the Ordering Party by the Contractor

Performance bond: 10% of gross bid value

Contractual penalties payable by the Contractor do not differ from the market standards.

Contractual penalties payable by the Ordering Party – do not deviate from market standards

The Ordering Party may seek compensation under general rules if the amount of damage exceeds the amount of the stipulated penalty.

Other terms and conditions of the contract do not differ from the market standards.

Total value of contracts signed between Budimex and its subsidiaries and the Ordering Parties, including the bid value, exceeds the threshold of PLN 151,393 thousand net.
