Expansion of the Dworzec Drzewny Quay at the Port of Gdańsk – signing of the contract

The Management Board of Budimex SA announces that on 8 June 2018 it concluded a contract with Zarząd Morskiego Portu Gdańsk SA for implementation of the project “Expansion of the Dworzec Drzewny Quay at the Port of Gdańsk”.

The Company announced that the Employer selected the Budimex S.A. bid as the most advantageous one in the tender procedure in the current report No 23/2018 of 19 April 2018.

Contract value: PLN 153,706,813.35 net

Works commencement date: no later than 30 days after the date of contract conclusion

Works completion date: 96 weeks from the contract date

Guarantee period: 60 months

Warranty period: 60 months

Advance payment: none

Payment terms: 30 days from the day of providing the Employer with a correct Contractor’s VAT invoice

Bank performance bond: 10% of the Accepted Gross Contract Amount

Contractual penalties payable by the Contractor do not deviate from market standards

If a contractual penalty charged in accordance with the principles of the contract does not cover the entire damage suffered, the Employer may request supplemental damages on the general terms specified in the Civil Code.

The contract value exceeds the threshold of PLN 127,386 thousand net.
