Katowice Airport – extension and modernisation of airfield and airport infrastructure – reception of information about the selection of the offer by Budimex SA.

The Management Board of Budimex SA announces that on 1 January 2010 it received from Górnośląskie Towarzystwo Lotnicze SA in Katowice the information that its offer has been selected as the most advantageous one in the proceedings for the granting of a public procurement in the form of an open tender for 'Construction works covering the extension of the PPS 1 apron in the eastern direction, together with the modernisation of E1, E2 and D taxiways at the "Katowice" Airport in Pyrzowice, carried out as part of the "Katowice Airport – extension of airfield and airport infrastructure" task'.

• Net contract value: PLN 77,938,171.42
• Commencement date: 30 days from the Contract entering into force
• Deadline: 113 weeks from the Contract entering into force
• Guarantee period: 60 months after the works have been completed
• Financial conditions:
• Payment: 90 days after the Contracting Authority has received a VAT invoice
• Bank guarantee of successful execution – 10% of the Approved Contractual Amount (including VAT)
• Contractual penalties paid by the Contractor:
  PLN 50,000.00 net (excluding VAT) for every day of delay
  Maximum Amount of Penalty for Delay – 10% of the net Approved Contractual Amount (excluding VAT)
• The contract value exceeds 10% of the equity of Budimex S.A.
