Selection of the bid from the consortium of Budimex and KZA Przedsiębiorstwo Automatyki i Telekomunikacji S.A. by PKP Polskie Linie Kolejowe S.A.

The Management Board of Budimex SA announces that on 13 February 2018 it was notified by PKP Polskie Linie Kolejowe S.A. about the selection of the bid of the consortium of Budimex SA (consortium leader, 80%) and KZA Przedsiębiorstwo Automatyki i Telekomunikacji S.A. (consortium partner) as the most advantageous bid in the procurement procedure for “Design and performance of construction works at the Idzikowice station under the project named Modernisation of the railway line No. 4 – Central Rail Line. Stage II”.

Contract value: PLN 128,742,547.00 net.

Works commencement date: after the Contract date.

Works completion date: 16.06.2020

Guarantee period: 72 months starting from the Work Acceptance Date.

Advance payment: none

Payment: 30 days from the receipt by the Employer of a properly issued VAT invoice

Bank performance bond: 10% of gross bid value.

Contractual penalties:

- 30% of the gross bid price in the event of withdrawal from the Contract for reasons attributable to the Contractor

Other contractual penalties do not differ from market standards.

- Limit amount of penalties: 30% of gross bid value.

Payment of contractual penalties does not prejudice the Employer’s right to seek damages exceeding liquidated damages provided for in the contract, in accordance with general principles.

The bid value exceeds the threshold of PLN 111,446 thousand.
