Selection of Budimex bid by the Podlasie Province Road Administration in Białystok for the construction and extension of the provincial road No 677

The Management Board of Budimex SA announces that on 17 November, the Podlasie Province Road Administration in Białystok selected the Budimex bid as the most advantageous one in the tender for the “construction and extension of the provincial road No 677, including road engineering structures and the required technical infrastructure along the section of Łomża town and Konarzyce by-pass with the construction of category “B” level crossing in Konarzyce (land plot No 901/1) at the km 11.217 of the railway line No 49 Śniadowo – Łomża” – task I. Bid value: PLN 28,772,041.00 net
On 14 December 2016 Budimex SA concluded a contract with the same investor for the “Construction and extension of the provincial road No 678 along the section from Horodniany to the crossing with the provincial road No 682 in Markowszczyzna. The value of the contract was PLN 95,000,000.00 net.
Terms of the highest value contract signed with the same Employer in the last 12 months:
Contract value: PLN 95,000,000.00 net
Works commencement date: design works shall commence within 5 days as of signing the contract. Site handover date: within 7 days after the Contractor obtains the immediately enforceable decision on Permission for the Implementation of a Road Project.
Works completion date: 15 August 2018.
Guarantee period: 60 months
Payment date: 30 days
Bank performance bond: 10% of the Accepted Gross Contract Value.
Contractual penalties payable by the Contractor and the Employer do not deviate from market standards.
The Parties to the contract agreed upon the liability for non-performance or improper performance of the contract in the form of damages under the general terms of the civil code.
The total value of both contracts is PLN 123,772,041.00 net and exceeds the threshold of PLN 111,446 thousand.
