Construction of Terminal II – Lech Wałęsa Airport in Gdańsk
Description of the project
The project covered the construction of a second passenger terminal, including the construction of enclosed structures (T2 passenger terminal with a skybridge and external staircases and platforms, as well as infrastructure), the road system (access to T2 with the engineering road infrastructure), rainwater tanks, as well as the underground ventilation and power ducts. The passenger terminal building consists of three floors above ground and one underground. The building was awarded in “Tricity Wings 2012” and“Top Municipal Investments 2013” contests. The structure is one of the largest investment in the history of Gdansk, with the total surface area of 39,400 m2. The net value of the project is PLN 156 million.
