The signing of a contract for the expansion of the Ministry of Finance IT Centre facility in Radom

4 August 2022. Budimex has signed a contract with the Ministry of Finance IT Centre for the expansion of the Ministry of Finance IT Centre facility in Radom. The project is intended to secure the possibility of developing and building further business services supported by IT tools, as well as further centralisation and consolidation of departmental systems.

 

At the request of the ordering party - the IT Centre of the Ministry of Finance, as part of the development, Budimex, as the General Contractor, will execute, together with the design documentation, the construction of a technical building-server room consisting of a 1-storey technical part (including: technical rooms necessary for the proper functioning of the server room and auxiliary rooms) and a 2-storey administrative and office part, together with the equipment. The contract also includes the connection of the existing technical building with the new technical building, as well as the execution of the land development works associated with the construction of the new server room, and obtaining an occupancy permit.

 

The total usable area of the building is approximately 5,510.00 m2, while the volume is 37,107.00 m3 The new project will be designed and implemented as the construction of a new CIRF building located to the southeast of the existing facility.

 

A car park with approximately 36 parking spaces is also planned for the development, along with the construction of charging stations for hybrid cars, electric cars, bicycles and electric mopeds. An above-ground installation of photovoltaic modules with a minimum capacity of 150.00 kW will also be constructed.

 

The completion date is 31 months from the date of signing the contract. The server room, as an extension of the IT space, is intended to provide an increase in the computing power of the central IT infrastructure of the Ministry of Finance and to serve the growing needs in the area of progressive computerisation of services and processes.
