The second House of the Heart will be built in Brusy in Pomerania
Budimex will once again join forces with other construction companies for a good cause. As part of the House of the Heart 2 campaign, it will build a turnkey house for a family of 8 from the town of Brusy in the Pomeranian Voivodeship. This will be the second house to be built for a large family living in difficult economic conditions financed by Budimex and its partners.
House from the Heart 2 is the continuation of a widely publicised campaign from a year ago, when Budimex, in cooperation with other companies, built, equipped and handed over for use a house to Mrs. Magda and her poor 16-person family from Radomsko.
This time, the beneficiaries of the Programme will be a family of 8 living in Brusy in the Pomeranian Voivodeship. Iwona and Krzysztof are the parents of 6 children, including 2 chronically ill children. Apart from challenges related to the children's illness such as the need to provide them with specialised care, the family is also struggling with a difficult financial situation. Currently, they are renting an apartment with an area of 68 m2, with 3 rooms at their disposal. Iwona and Krzysztof, in order to provide their children with better living conditions, decided to build their own house on an inherited plot. The house, with a total area of 120 m2, will contain 6 rooms, a kitchen, 2 bathrooms and a garage. The family had already started work, but due to their difficult financial situation, construction had to be put on hold.
Iwona and Krzysztof dream about completing the construction of their house and creating a suitable place for their children to develop and learn. As part of the #HouseoftheHeart campaign, Budimex decided to help the family realise their dream and will complete the construction and fully furnish their new home. This project, coming from the depths of the heart, is aimed at helping people in a difficult situation. At the same time, it draws attention to the situation of many large families in Poland and encourages people to initiate similar efforts to help families in need.
“The main message of the House of the Heart campaign is the desire to help people facing life's difficulties. The difficult situation of Iwona and Krzysztof was our motivation to once again take the initiative and organise the campaign, and together with our Partners improve the living conditions of this family”, says Cezary Mączka, Member of the Management Board of Budimex SA.
“In April of this year, Budimex, together with our Partners, built and equipped a 220-metre house for a family of sixteen from Radomsko. The company carries out over a dozen large construction investments, including: the construction of the S6 Kashubian Route, the Tri-City Metropolitan Ring Road, the 2nd stage of the navigable canal through the Vistula Spit and the Gdynia Port railway junction”adds Cezary Mączka.
