New members of the Supervisory Board of Budimex S.A.

On 20 May 2021, the Ordinary General Meeting of Budimex S.A. passed resolutions to appoint new members of the Supervisory Board of Budimex S.A. Pursuant to the above resolutions, the following persons became members of the Supervisory Board: Dariusz Blocher and Ignacio Aitor Garcia Bilbao

 

Dariusz Blocher

 

Dariusz Blocher is a graduate of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mechanical Engineering of the Czestochowa University of Technology. After graduation, in 1992 he started working at the Ahlstrom - Fakop Industrial Boiler Factory. Between 1993 and 1994, he worked for the distribution company “Proman” s.c. in Katowice as a branch manager. From May 1994 to February 2002, he was associated with Pepsi Co. Poland, initially as the head of the Sales Department in Silesia, HR director in the Sales and Distribution Department, and from September 1998, he was the HR director at production plants and at the Pepsi Cola headquarters in Poland.

In 2007, he graduated from IESE Business School in Barcelona, completing the AMP (Advance Management Programme). From February 2002, he was a Member of the Management Board and the Director for Human Resources Management at Budimex S.A. From November 2007, he served as the President of the Management Board, General Manager of Budimex Dromex S.A. and Member of the Management Board of Budimex S.A.

From September 2009 to May 2021, he served as the President of the Management Board and the CEO of Budimex S.A. As of 19 May 2021, Dariusz Blocher submitted his resignation from the functions held in the Management Board of Budimex S.A.

 

Ignacio Aitor Garcia Bilbao

 

Ignacio Garcia Bilbao is the Chief Financial Officer at Ferrovial Construction, responsible for all economic and financial aspects of the division.

Education: degree in economics and business administration at Comillas ICADE University (Madrid) and Management Development Programme (PDD) at IESE.

He started his professional career as an auditor at Deloitte, and after 2 years joined Ferrovial Agroman. Since then, he has gained many years of experience at Ferrovial, holding various managerial positions and being a member of the Management Board representing Ferrovial in various companies.

From 2000, after the acquisition of Budimex, he was based in Warsaw until 2003, where he served as the Deputy CFO and Control Director. From 2011 to 2019, he was the CFO of Ferrovial Airports and Ferrovial Power Infrastructures, rejoining the Ferrovial Construction team as the CFO in 2020. In addition to his experience in finance and development, he also contributed to Ferrovial’s innovation development, having been a member of the Digital Vision Board for several years.
