“House from the Heart” is getting closer and closer to the final – meeting with CSR Action Partners in Brusy

On 6 July 2022, a press meeting was held dedicated to the CSR action - “House from the Heart 2”, initiated once again by Budimex. It is a special project in which a house is being built for a family of 8 people in need from Brusy in the Pomeranian Voivodeship. The second edition of the programme once again involved friendly companies whose representatives met in Brusy to sum up the progress of the construction of the dream house of Iwona, Krzysztof and their six children.

“House from the Heart 2” is the continuation of a widely publicised campaign from a year ago, when Budimex, in cooperation with other companies, built, equipped and handed over for use a house to Magda and her 16-person family from Radomsko. This time, the beneficiaries of the programme are the 8-person family of Iwona and Krzysztof from the town of Brusy in the Pomeranian Voivodeship. Apart from the challenges related to the children's illness, such as the need to provide them with specialised care, the family is also struggling with a difficult financial situation. Iwona and Krzysztof, in order to provide their children with better living conditions, decided to build their own house on an inherited plot. The family had started work, but due to their difficult financial situation, construction had to be put on hold. Budimex, together with other construction companies, decided to help the family realise their dream and complete the house to turnkey condition together with the partners.

One of the first to get involved in the campaign was Keller Polska, which financed the furnishings for Iwona and Krzysztof's house. ‘We watched the construction of the first “House from the Heart”, we saw how much it changed lives and how much joy the project brought to the family who lived in it (...) After receiving information from our colleagues from Budimex that they were going to fund a new house for another family in need and, at the same time, an offer to support this construction, we immediately decided to become one of the funders. Such a great project requires significant financial support, which is why I am happy that the construction of the “House from the Heart” is supported by many companies, and I hope that the new owners will feel comfortable there’, says Artur Gaszewski Chief Executive Officer of Keller Poland.

Another company that has decided to support the campaign is Daikin, which supplied a heat pump to the new home of a family from Brusy. As Daikin, we are well aware that in addition to the business world in which, as a leader in the industry, we operate on a daily basis, there is also a completely different world, the ordinary life-world, in which individuals themselves fight not for profits and benefits, but for their own well-being, peace of mind and a dignified life in comfortable conditions. That is why we are proud to contribute to the co-creation of such a home and its warmth. We believe that our modest contribution in the form of the Daikin Altherma heat pump, together with its commissioning, will serve the family for many years providing warmth and low operating costs, which is extremely important’, says Agnieszka Pióro, Marketing Coordinator at Daikin.

Meanwhile, the comprehensive construction of the 10 kWp photovoltaic installation was handled by the SunSol company from Gdańsk. ‘The opportunity to take part in the next instalment of the “House from the Heart” campaign is a great honour for SunSol. We are delighted to have made our contribution to the project with the comprehensive construction of a 10 kWp photovoltaic system. The system we built will make it possible to power the home of Iwona, Krzysztof and their children with free and green electricity all year round. We decided to help because the nature of the “House from the Heart” campaign fits in with SunSol's mission to leave a clean environment for future generations. This can happen precisely thanks to such projects, which not only allow us to continually reduce CO2 emissions, but also provide help to people who need it’, explains Radosław Błoński, Key Account Manager at Sun Sol. SunSol was supported in the implementation of the “House from the Heart” project by Corab, which supplied a complete high-quality mounting structure. The installed structure will provide solid support for the installed photovoltaic modules for many years.

The company by the name of Wiśniowski also joined the campaign, supplying external doors (NOVA aluminium-steel external doors, ECO and MultiSecure EI30 steel shell doors) and a garage door to the new “House from the Heart”. ‘The Wiśniowski brand has always been close to its customers and listens to their needs. Providing help and involvement in various pro-social campaigns is written into our DNA. We know that a real home means security. Security is understood on many levels – also in the area of joinery. That is why the Wiśniowski brand has joined the “House from the Heart” team with the mission to support the security of the most disadvantaged families in Poland We are proud that our products can help those in need’, says Urszula Kądziołka, Marketing Project Manager at Wiśniowski. Meanwhile, the doors inside the house (12 pieces) were provided by Porta, which is supporting the “House from the Heart” campaign for the second time. ‘We are joining the “House from the Heart” campaign for the second time because we know what a unique feeling it is to be able to open the door to your dream home. At PORTA, we know that it is worth helping each other, in the small and the big things. When we found out about the 2nd edition of the “House from the Heart” and another family in need, we decided without hesitation to offer our help’, says Grzegorz Białczak, Vice President of the Management Board of PORTA KMI POLAND.

Another partner in the construction of the new home for Iwona and Krzysztof, and their six children, is the Polbram company, which donated a fencing system (double-leaf gate, two railings, fence panels, fence posts, posts for a gate, posts for the railings). FBSerwis SA, which once again joined the “House from the Heart” campaign, was responsible for laying the paving, which was supplied by Ginter – (Grasso ‘Rock with white’ tile). FBSerwis also helped with the alteration of the well to the water meter and the gutter downpipes. Temporary fencing and generators were provided by Atut Rental. The full roofing of the “House from the Heart”, on the other hand, was provided by Creaton, donating excellent quality Goteburg Planar tiles. Roofing to the highest standards was carried out by the general contractor Budhaus, which also equipped the house with a lightning protection system. The decision to support Budimex's action was also taken by Drutex, which provided the “House from the Heart” with PVC windows.

Help in equipping the kitchen (kitchen furniture, kitchen worktop, fittings, sink), and two bathrooms (tiles, bathtub, shower cubicle, bathroom ceramics, bathroom furniture, mirrors, fittings) was offered by Castorama Polska. In addition, the company provided stoneware (floors on the ground floor: living room, hall, technical rooms and garage) and prepared designs for the kitchen, bathrooms and living room. Consumer electronics and household appliances (hood, hob, oven, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, washer-dryer, TV set) were donated by RTV Euro AGD. “House from the Heart” gained colour thanks to the Magnat brand (Śnieżka Group) which provided the following paints: Magnat ON-REFLEX (snow-white paint for ceilings, Magnat Ceramic matte paint for interiors with guaranteed stain resistance). The exterior plaster and facade paint were provided by the Foveo-Tech brand (Śnieżka Group). 30 pieces of house lighting were donated by Sigma Lighting. For the second time, the Blue Energy company has also joined the campaign and will donate IT equipment to the family. Similarly, the iSowa Foundation is once again helping during the “House from the Heart” campaign by providing the residents of the new home with a “Magic Carpet” – an interactive teaching aid for children.

Thanks to the support of all the Action Partners, the family from Brusy will soon be able to enjoy their new dream home.
