Extending the composition of Budimex S.A Management

On 14 December the Supervisory Board of Budimex appointed three new Board members, extending the current four-member board. As of 1 January 2023, the following people were appointed to perform the new functions: Anna Karyś-Sosińska, Maciej Olek and Cezary Łysenko.

Anna Karyś-Sosińska performs the function of Director of HR Management Division of Budimex S.A. Maciej Olek is the Railway Construction Director at Budimex S.A. Cezary Łysenko is the Infrastructure Construction Director at Budimex S.A.

Apart from the newly appointed managers, the composition of the Management Board remains as it stands: Artur Popko – President of the Management Board, Jacek Daniewski – Legal and Organisational Division Director, Marcin Węgłowski – Financial Division Director and Artur Pielech – President of FB Serwis.

Extension of the management board’s composition and its strengthening is a natural result of Budimex Group’s development. Last year Budimex Group started operations in foreign markets: in Germany, the Czech Republic and Slovakia. The company developed the rail, hydraulic engineering and infrastructure construction segments. Budimex has invested in the areas of renewable energy, electromobility and waste and raw materials management. Strengthening the management board is designed to allow the group to better respond to the demands of the new markets and to achieve the group’s strategic goals in the years ahead. The new members of the management board have more than 20 years of experience of working in executive and managerial positions in Budimex Group. They participated in developing new divisions, organisational structures and the implementation of the most demanding tasks in the scope of construction and HR management. The new management board members form and spread Budimex’s key values, they build and develop their teams and strengthen the positions of their subordinate areas within the industry.
