Budimex returns to Lithuania

The President of Budimex was visibly pleased with the contract received by the company - We are coming back to the Lithuanian market, which is even more satisfying given the fact that the investment will be important for the city and its residents - The scope of works entrusted to the consortium includes construction of the waste incineration plant comprising a waste incineration boiler, turbo generators both for the incinerator itself and for the biomass unit, gas treatment system and systems supporting the operation of the incineration plant.  Budimex will be responsible for execution of nearly half of the works.

In December 2015 Budimex successfully completed construction of the Communal Waste Disposal Plaint in Białystok with the capacity of 120 thousand tons per year, which owing to its waste incineration functionality additionally generates electricity and heat. 

- We are consolidating our position in the power engineering construction market, which is proved by our being awarded this contract. In a long-term perspective we want Budimex to be associated with competences of an EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) contractor in the energy sector - President Blocher recapitulates.
