Budimex recognized for recruitment of new employees

Budimex was awarded in the 2017 Recruitment Process category in the second edition of the “Attraction strength” competition organised by “Puls Biznesu”, Work Service Group, PwC and Orange Polska.

The award on behalf of Budimex was received by Cezary Mączka – Director of the HR Department, Member of the Management Board.

The competition is to select the most interesting and effective projects that attract most talented employees to a company and keep them employed. The jury is comprehensively assessing employer branding and not only recognises best practices, but primarily innovative recruitment campaigns using non-standard recruitment tools.

The jury recognised Budimex for a model and interesting recruitment process. “Employment in barracks, often many kilometres from home, instead of pool tables and electronic glasses. Mud and wellingtons instead of elegant shoes. Budimex demonstrates that owing to efficient recruitment a construction company need not fear the lack of candidates,” Puls Biznesu added.

For the purposes of trainee recruitment Budimex created the Budimex Cup application, which, in the candidates’ opinion, is an application enabling interesting recruitment of young employees. Recruitment under the Budimex Academy enabled to find 300 candidates, of which at least one thirds is expected to stay longer with the Company.

Furthermore, the campaign consolidated the brand, distinguishing it among the competition.
