The KGHM Polska Miedz S.A. tailings plant and Budimex S.A. have signed a contract for the realization of the first stage of the expansion of the “Żelazny Most” tailings storage facility through adding the Southern Section. Modern construction technologies provide safe utilization of the facility and the development of KGHM in the copper belt.

On 18th April, we signed an agreement to complete the premises of the Sybir Memorial Museum, which will be located on ul. Węglowa (Węglowa street) in Białystok.

The construction of the Ostróda Ring-Road, performed by Budimex, was honoured with the TopBuilder 2018 statuette. It is one of the most renowned awards in the Polish construction market.

Construction of the first stage of the Łagiewniki Road was commenced on 22 February. The consortium of Budimex SA and Ferrovial Agroman is the general contractor of the project.

We will complete the first stage of the flagship Virako project – a multifunctional Monopolis complex in Łódź.

During the official gala ending the Transforming Polish Industry Forum, on behalf of Budimex, Dariusz Blocher, President of the Management Board, received the distinction “The one transforming Polish industry. 20th Anniversary”.

This is a special award granted to a company on the basis of its assessment made by employees.

Budimex signed contracts with the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways Branch Office Szczecin for the construction of two sections of the S3 express road. The contract on behalf of the company was signed by President of the Board, Dariusz Blocher.

We are proud to announce that Budimex once again formed part of the RESPECT Index. On 14 December 2017 the Warsaw Stock Exchange announced the RESPECT Index – i.e. social responsibility index – portfolio, once again including our company. A certificate was received on behalf of the company by Krzysztof Kozioł, Director of Budimex SA Communication Office.

The connecting line between the Kraków Zabłocie and Kraków Krzemionki stops built by Budimex SA and Ferrovial Agroman SA has been commissioned. First regular trains started to use the connecting line on the effective date of the new timetable.

On 30 November 2017 Budimex SA and Ferrovial Agroman concluded with the Regional Authority for Water Management in Gliwice a contract for finishing off the construction of the Racibórz Dolny polder.

Under the “Parent Zone. Budimex for children” social programme a modern and functional zone for parents and sick children was created in the Children Ward of the Mazovian Provincial Hospital in Siedlce. This is the 22nd location in Poland subject to the programme organised by Budimex SA.

Budimex was awarded in the 2017 Recruitment Process category in the second edition of the “Attraction strength” competition organised by “Puls Biznesu”, Work Service Group, PwC and Orange Polska.

Budimex is among 2017 Top 10 Employers. The distinction is awarded by PulsHR.pl and the PTWP SA Group.

Budimex signed with the Białstok branch of the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways a contract for the design and construction of the S61 express road Ostrów Mazowiecka–Szczuczyn, section: Stawiski junction (excluding the junction) – start of the Szczuczyn ring road, with the length of 18 km. On behalf of Budimex the contract was signed by Darisuz Blocher, President of the Management Board.
 

The Budimex Group closed the third quarter of 2017 with very good results — 11% year-on-year increase in sales, significant improvement in profitability and net profit of PLN 337 million.
