Budimex wins award for the implementation of a cloud-based HRIS system

This award was for the whole HR team, which, with the support of the IT team, has implemented the first HRIS functionalities in just 8 months!

On Wednesday, 23 October, Budimex received the Oracle Customer of the Year award for the implementation of a cloud-based HRIS system. Apart from Orange, Budimex was the only winner in the category. We are one of the first companies in Poland to implement the functionalities of the system locally. It is planned to cover the main ‘soft’ HR processes with the Oracle system, such as periodic appraisals, goal setting, training and development, succession planning, recruitment, as well as support for the area of salaries and benefits. In this way, the company hopes to provide flexible self-service to employees and line managers, which is consistent with the latest global HR practices. HRIS will cover nearly 6000 employees in 5 companies of the Budimex Group.

This award was for the whole HR team, which, with the support of the IT team, has implemented the first HRIS functionalities in just 8 months. I would like to congratulate those responsible for the project, including Piotr Sacha, who leads the implementation,” commented Cezary Mączka, Director of the HR Management Division. “As soon as the HRIS base module was commissioned, we started work on further functionalities that we intend to launch in the near future, namely periodic appraisals and goal setting. At the same time, we are working on HRIS optimisation based on the first experiences of thousands of our users,” adds Cezary Mączka.

The technology is provided by Oracle and implemented by Fizz Consulting – the implementation partner of the American company. It is the largest project of this type in the construction industry and one of the greatest implementations of cloud-based solutions in Poland. HRIS will support HR activities by allowing the employees to access the system via computers, tablets and smartphones.
