The Management Board of Budimex S.A. informs that on 19 March 2019 Budimex S.A. received a letter from the Ordering Party - PKP Polskie Linie Kolejowe S.A., informing that its bid had been selected as the most advantageous one in the public contract award procedure conducted as open tendering for the construction works at Gdynia Port railway station as part of the Project entitled “Improvement of railway access to the sea port in Gdynia”.
The information that our bid had been ranked the highest was published on 8 January 2019 in current report No 2/2019.
Bid value: PLN 1,487,398,373.98 net.
Works commencement date: date following the date of signing the Contract
Completion date: within 30 months from the Works commencement date
Guarantee period for the main works: 60 months
Statutory warranty period: 60 months
Maximum penalties paid by the Contractor: The total amount of penalties charged shall not exceed 30% of the Accepted Gross Contract Amount
Advance payment: 10% of the Accepted Gross Contract Amount
Payment terms: 30 days from the day of delivery of a correct VAT invoice to the Ordering Party by the Contractor
Bank performance bond: 10% of the total gross price
Payment of a contractual penalty does not prejudice the Ordering Party’s right to seek damages exceeding liquidated damages provided for in the contract, in accordance with general principles, including those resulting from the loss of EU funding, if the loss of this funding was for reasons attributable to the Contractor.
Other terms and conditions of the contract do not differ from the market standards.
The bid value exceeds the threshold of PLN 127,386 thousand net.
