Słowacki Route in Gdańsk Task III – new contract of Budimex SA

The Management Board of Budimex SA announces that on 04 August 2011 a contract was signed with Gdansk City Gmina, represented by Gdansk Municipal Investments Sp. z o.o. with its registered office in Gdansk, ul. Kartuska 5, 80-103 Gdańsk on the execution of works under the project "Connection of Airport with Seaport - Słowacki Route". Task III. Section - Aleja Gen. Józefa Hallera - Marynarki Polskiej Interchange

• The contract is worth PLN 109,748,361.00 net.
• Commencement date: immediately upon concluding the contract.
• Work completion date: 16 months after contract award
• Guarantee period: 60 months
• Financial terms and conditions:
  • Payment: 28 days from the date of submitting the invoice to the Contracting Authority.
  • Good performance bank guarantee: 10% of the gross contract value
  • Maximum penalties paid by the Contractor: 10%
• The Contracting Authority is entitled to claim compensation pursuant to general rules if the value of damage exceeds the value of the penalties.

The contract value exceeds 10% of the equity of Budimex S.A.
