Connection of national roads – Trasa Sucharskiego Task I. Section: the southern Gdańsk ring road – the Elbląska junction – information about the selection of the offer by Budimex SA

The Management Board of Budimex SA reports that on 19 May 2011 it received from Gdańskie Inwestycje Komunalne Sp. z o.o. with its registered office in Gdańsk a notification on the selection of the Budimex offer as the most favourable offer in the public procurement proceedings in the form of an open tender for the carrying out of construction works under the "Connection of national roads – Trasa Sucharskiego" enterprise. Task I. Section: the southern Gdańsk ring road – the Elbląska junction.

• Value of the offer: PLN 137,150,121.45 net
• Commencement date: immediately upon concluding the contract
• Deadline: 24 months from the date of concluding the contract
• Guarantee period: 60 months
• Financial terms and conditions:
  • Payment: 28 days from the date of submitting the invoice to the Contracting Authority
  • Bank guarantee of successful execution – 10% of the gross contract value
• Penalties paid by the Contractor:
  • 0.05% of the accepted gross contract amount for every day of delay in works completion
  • 0.05% of the accepted gross contract amount for every day of delay in carrying out each scope of works specified as a milestone
  • 10% of the accepted contract amount in the event of the Contracting Authority withdrawing from the contract for reasons attributable to the Contractor
• The Parties reserve the right to supplementary compensation which adapts the amount of contractual penalties to the amount of damage actually suffered

The value of the offer exceeds 10% of the equity of Budimex SA.
