Design and construction of A-1 Motorway: Tuszyn (without a junction) – border of Łódź and Silesia provinces from km 335+937.65 to km 399+742.51. Section A – signing of Annex 9 to the contract

With reference to current report No 54/2019 of 6.08.2019 and current report 54/2018 of 30.07.2018, the Management Board of Budimex SA announces that it was informed about the signing of Annex 9 with the Łódź Branch of the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways for the “Design and construction of A-1 Motorway: Tuszyn (without a junction) – border of Łódź and Silesia provinces from km 335+937.65 to km 399+742.51. Section A – Tuszyn junction (without a junction) – Bełchatów junction (including a junction) from km 335+937.65 to km 351+800.00.” implemented by the consortium of Budimex S.A. (consortium leader with 99% of shares) and Strabag sp. z o.o. (consortium partner with 1% of shares).

Annex No 9 value: PLN 6,113,791.89 net

Total value of signed annexes 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 7 and 9: PLN 158,675,660.90 net

Value of the aforementioned contract with the annexes:  PLN 548,004,071.57 net

Works commencement date: date of conclusion of Annex 9 between the Ordering Party and the Contractor.

Date of completion of works covered by the annex: until 01.03.2021

The Contractor does not provide the Ordering Part with a quality guarantee or warranty for defects for the works covered by Annex 9.

Total value of the performance bond is 10% of the gross value of Annex No 9, i.e. PLN 751,996.40, which will be paid by Budimex within the contractual deadline, i.e. until 04.12.2020

Other terms and conditions of the contract do not differ from the market standards.

The value of all signed annexes exceeds 20% of the value of the aforementioned contract.
