Expansion and modernisation of the airfield and airport infrastructure at Szczecin-Goleniów Airport - a new contract for Budimex SA

The Management Board of Budimex SA announces that, on 3 March 2014, the Company signed a contract with Port Lotniczy Szczecin Goleniów Sp. z o.o. in Goleniów for “Expansion and modernisation of the airfield and airport infrastructure at Szczecin-Goleniów Airport”.

• Contract value: PLN 87,696,048.94 net
• Commencement date: 3 March 2014
• Deadline: 30 June 2015
• Guarantee period: 36 months
• Financial terms and conditions:
  • Payment: within 75 days from the delivery of the invoice to the Contracting Authority
  • Performance bond: 5% of gross contract value
• Penalties payable by the Contractor:
  • 10% of the gross remuneration for withdrawal from the contract by the Contracting Authority for reasons attributable to the Contractor
  • 0.05% of the gross remuneration for each day of default in carrying out all of the works being the subject of the contract
  • 0.05% of the gross remuneration for each day of default in the removal of a defect/replacement of an element with an element free of defects.
• Penalties payable by the Contracting Authority:
  • 10% of the gross remuneration for withdrawal from the contract by the Contractor for reasons attributable to the Contracting Authority.
• The parties are entitled to claim supplementary compensation exceeding the value of the stipulated contractual penalties.

The value of the contract exceeds 10% of the equity of Budimex SA.
