Construction of the Lublin Conference Centre and the building of the Marshall’s Office - selection of the Budimex SA bid

The Budimex SA Management Board announces that on 21 January 2014 they were notified by the Lubelskie Province Marshall of the selection of the Budimex SA bid as the most advantageous one within the public procurement procedure conducted as an open tender for construction works consisting of the performance of two separate investment tasks, namely the "Lublin Conference Centre" and the "Construction of the Marshall’s Office Building in Lublin" with the required technical infrastructure.

• Value of the bid: PLN 89,722,999.99 net
• Starting date: no earlier than 01/02/2014
• Completion date: 30/04/2015 for the Lublin Conference Centre and 31/05/2015 for the Construction of the Marshall’s Office Building in Lublin
• Warranty period: 60 months
• Financial conditions:
  • Payment: 30 days as of invoice delivery to the Contracting Entity
  • Bank performance bond: 5% of the net remuneration
• Penalties payable by the Contractor:
  • 0.01% of the gross remuneration for each day of delay in the completion of the order
  • 10% of the gross remuneration for withdrawal from the contract or termination for reasons attributable to the Contractor
  • in case the Contracting Entity receives an external grant, each action or failure to act of the Contractor resulting in a loss of such a grant from external sources shall give the Contracting Entity grounds to claim damages from the Contractor
• The Contracting Entity shall have the right to seek damages pursuant to common law if the amount of the damages exceeds that of the agreed contractual penalties
