Design and build for a tram depot in Olsztyn - selection of the Budimex S.A. & KZN Rail consortium bid

The Management Board of Budimex S.A. announces that on 13 January 2014 it was informed by the City Hall of Olsztyn? about the selection of the bid from the consortium composed of Budimex S.A. (leader, 84.63%) and KZN Rail Sp. z o.o. with its registered office in Kraków (partner, 15.37%) as the best bid in the open tender led by Gmina of Olsztyn to design and build a tram depot at ul. Kołobrzeska 40 in Olsztyn.

• Contract value: PLN 72,227,995.23 net
• Commencement date: date of the contract
• Deadline: 18 months from the date of signing the contract
• Guarantee period: 60 months
• Financial terms and conditions:
  • Payment: 30 days from the delivery of the invoice to the Contracting Authority
  • Performance bond: 10% of the gross remuneration
• Maximum penalties: 20% of the gross contract value
• If the value of the damage exceeds the contractual penalties, the Contracting Authority shall have the right to claim compensation on general terms

The contract value exceeds 10% of the equity of Budimex S.A.
