Expansion and modernisation of airfield and airport infrastructure at Szczecin–Goleniów Airport - selection of the bid by Budimex SA

The Management Board of Budimex SA reports that on 20 December 2013, it was informed that the bid by Budimex S.A. was selected as the most favourable in the public procurement proceedings carried out by Port Lotniczy Szczecin Goleniów Sp. z o.o. of Goleniów in the form of an open tender for the “Expansion and modernisation of airfield and airport infrastructure at Szczecin–Goleniów Airport”.

• Contract value: PLN 87,696,380.63 net
• Commencement date: 3 March 2014
• Deadline: 30 June 2015
• Guarantee period: 36 months
• Financial terms and conditions:
  • Payment: 60 days from the delivery of the invoice to the Contracting Authority
  • Performance bond: 5% of gross contract value
• Liquidated damages payable by the Contractor:
  • 10% of the gross remuneration for withdrawal from the contract by the Contracting Authority for reasons attributable to the Contractor;
  • 0.1% of the gross remuneration for each day of default in carrying out all of the works being the subject of the contract;
  • 0.05% of the gross remuneration for each day of default in the removal of a defect/replacement of an element with an element free of defects.
• Liquidated damages payable by the Contracting Authority:
  • 10% of the gross remuneration for the withdrawal from the contract by the Contractor for reasons attributable to the Contracting Authority.
• The parties are entitled to claim supplementary compensation exceeding the value of the stipulated liquidated damages.

The contract value exceeds 10% of the equity of Budimex SA.
