Małopolska Biotechnology Centre of the Jagiellonian University - a new Budimex SA contract

The Management Board of Budimex SA announces that on 15 October 2013 the Company received a signed agreement dated 8 Oct. 2013 concluded with the Jagiellonian University with its seat in Cracow concerning: construction, assembly and installation works in laboratories and technical rooms as well as land development works concerning fire safety and acoustic insulation of the Małopolska Biotechnology Centre of the Jagiellonian University situated at 7A Gronostajowa Street in Cracow.

• Net contract value: PLN 1,521,150.51.

Furthermore, the Management Board of Budimex SA announces that it is another contract concluded with the Jagiellonian University in Cracow in the past 12 months. The largest value contract was signed on 7 August 2013, it concerned construction and assembly works in the Paderevianum facility situated in Krupnicza Street in Cracow.

• Net contract value: PLN 37,583,868.94.
• Commencement date: design works will begin on the date of concluding the contract
• Deadline: 18 months after the date of concluding the contract
• Guarantee period:
  • 120 months for structures, the roof, windows and external door frame-woodwork;
  • 36 months for other construction and assembly works, furnishings and equipment.
• Financial terms and conditions:
  • Payment: 30 days from the delivery of the invoice to the ordering party.
  • Performance bond: 10% of the gross contract value
• Maximum contractual penalties: 30% of the gross contract value
• The parties may seek compensation exceeding the value of reserved contractual penalties upon general principles.

The total value of contracts executed with this client in the past 12 months exceeds 10% of the equity of Budimex SA.
