Construction of a facility on the premises of University Hospital No. 1 in Bydgoszcz - selection of the bid submitted by Budimex SA

The Management Board of Budimex SA announces that on 2 September 2013 it was notified that the bid submitted by Budimex SA was deemed best in the public procurement procedure carried out by the University of Nicolaus Copernicus in Toruń, L. Rydygier Medical College in Bydgoszcz, in a limited tender for "Construction of a facility for the Department of Psychiatry, Department of Geriatrics, Department of Dermatology, Sexually Transmitted Diseases and Immunodermatology and Department of Palliative Medicine on the premises of Antoni Jurasz University Hospital No. 1 in Bydgoszcz, located at ul. M. Curie-Sklodowska 9".

• Contract value: PLN 61,115,662.87 net
• Commencement date: date of the contract
• Completion date: within 21 months following the effective date of the contract
• Term of guarantee: 60 months
• Financial terms and conditions:
  • Terms of payment: 30 days from the delivery of the invoice to the Contracting Authority
  • Performance bond: 10% of the gross contract value
• Amount of liquidated damages payable by the Contractor:
  • 10% of the gross remuneration in any event of non-performance or improper performance of the contract not specified in the contract
  • 5% of the gross remuneration in the event of the Contracting Authority's rescission from the contract due to reasons attributable to the Contractor
  • 3% of the gross remuneration for any failure to provide copies of insurance policies in a timely manner
• The Contracting Authority reserves the right to seek damages on general principles if the amount of loss sustained exceeds the amount of the liquidated damages or if the damage is caused due to reasons for which such liquidated damages have not been stipulated.

The contract value exceeds 10% of the equity of Budimex SA.
