Construction of an office and service building - a new contract for Budimex SA

The Management Board of Budimex SA announces that on 23 July 2013, a contract was signed with LC Corp Invest XII Sp. z o.o. based in Wrocław concerning the construction of Building A as part of the first stage of the office and service investments, with entrances, transport network, land development and technical infrastructure in Katowice.

• Contract value: maximum net amount of PLN 59,900,000.00 (including the variable remuneration component for fitting out works, of the maximum net amount of PLN 16,700,324)
• Commencement date: 31.07.2013
• Deadline: 30.11.2014
• Guarantee period: 10 years for steel and reinforced concrete structures, tightness of roof, insulation, elevation, floors, etc.; 60 months for conducted works and roads; 36 months for all other products
• Financial terms and conditions:
  • Term of payment: 30 days from the delivery of the invoice to the Contracting Authority
  • Performance bond: 10% of the net contract value
• Maximum penalties: 10% of the net contract value
• The Parties have the right to claim compensation pursuant to general terms if the value of the damage exceeds the stipulated penalty

The contract value exceeds 10% of the equity of Budimex SA.
