Continuation of the construction of the A4 motorway for the section between the Krzyż junction and the Dębica Pustynia junction - selection of the offer by Woerner Sp. z o.o. and Budimex S.A.

The Management Board of Budimex S.A. announces that on 26 March 2013 it was informed by the Rzeszów Division of the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways about the selection of the bid by the consortium of Heilit Woerner Sp. z o.o. (leader, 50%) and Budimex S.A. (partner, 50%) as the most most favourable bid in the proceedings for awarding a contract under an open tender procedure for the “Continuation of the construction of the Tarnów - Rzeszów part of the A4 motorway for the section between the Krzyż junction and the Dębica Pustynia junction, km 502+796.97 to approx. km 537+550”.
Contract value: PLN 798,001,651.66 net
Commencement date: not later than 28 days from the date of signing the contract.
Deadline: 18 months from the date of signing the contract
Guarantee period: 10 years.
Financial terms and conditions:
Advance payment: 10% of the approved gross contractual amount
Payment: 30 days from the delivery of the invoice to the Contracting Authority.
Performance bond: 10% of the approved gross contractual amount
Maximum penalty amount: 20% of the approved gross contractual amount
The parties may seek damages in excess of the amount of the stipulated liquidated damages.
The contract value exceeds 10% of the equity of Budimex SA.
