Selected 2012 financial data for the Budimex Group

In connection with the submission of financial information to Grupo Ferrovial S.A., the parent company of Budimex S.A., the Management Board of Budimex S.A. publishes selected financial data from the consolidated financial statements of the Budimex Group prepared in accordance with the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) for 2012 and including comparable data for 2011.
Net revenues from sale of products, goods and materials: PLN 6,077,660 thousand as compared to PLN 5,516,487 thousand in 2011.*
Gross sales profit: PLN 459,871 thousand as compared to PLN 456,766 thousand in 2011*.
Operating profit: PLN 182,409 thousand as compared to PLN 134,651 thousand in 2011.*
Gross profit: PLN 202,628 thousand as compared to PLN 141,794 thousand in 2011.*
Net profit for the shareholders of the parent company: PLN 185,982 thousand as compared to 75,594 thousand in 2011.*
In addition, the Management Board of Budimex SA announces that the effect of the impairment of the Group's assets related to PNI on the operating and gross profit of the Budimex Group in 2012 amounted to PLN -151 million.

At the end of 2012, the order portfolio of the Budimex Group amounted to PLN 4.9 billion.
In 2012, the real property development segment (Budimex Nieruchomości Sp. z o.o.) pre-sold 515 flats (bookings not included) and sold 740 premises by notarial deed.
The net value of contracts signed by the Budimex Group in 2012 was PLN 2.8 billion.
The net cash position of the Budimex Group, including own cash and short-term securities, less borrowing costs, as at 31 December 2012, amounted to PLN 1,188 million. As at 31 December 2011, the net cash position of the Budimex Group amounted to PLN 1,576 million.
The enclosed table includes results of the reporting segments for 2012 and comparable data for 2011.

* The comparable data for 2011 has been changed due to the modification of the rough estimate for fair value of net assets of Przedsiębiorstwo Napraw Infrastruktury Sp. z o.o. and the impairment allowance for goodwill. The change has not affected previous reporting periods.
