Construction of a new runway at the Katowice Airport in Pyrzowice – a new contract for Budimex SA

The Management Board of Budimex SA announces that, on 26 October 2012, it signed a contract with Górnośląskie Towarzystwo Lotnicze SA for the "Building works involving the construction of a new runway and the necessary infrastructure at the Katowice International Airport in Pyrzowice, executed as part of the task: Airport in Katowice: expansion and modernisation of the airport infrastructure".

• Value of the contract: PLN 121,625,981.91 net
• Commencement date: 30 days from the date the Contract becomes effective
• Deadline: 30.09.2014
• Guarantee period: 60 months
• Financial terms:
  • Payment: 60 days from the delivery of the invoice to the contracting Authority
  • Performance bond: 10% of the gross contract value
  • Maximum penalties paid by the Contractor: 10% of the net contract value
• If the value of the damage exceeds the contractual penalties, the Contracting Authority shall have the right to claim compensation on general terms.

The value of the contract exceeds 10% of the equity of Budimex SA.
