Appointment of a managing person

The Management Board of Budimex S.A. announces that following a request of the President of the Board and CEO of Budimex S.A., on 25 May this year, the Supervisory Board of Budimex S.A. appointed Mr Andrzej Artur Czynczyk, the Human Resources Director, as a Member of the Management Board, effective from 25 May 2012. The appointment is for the period of the seventh common cadence covering the years 2011, 2012 and 2013. The seventh cadence of the Board ceases on the day of the General Meeting of Budimex S.A., when the 2013 financial reports will be approved.
Andrzej Artur Czynczyk, a sociologist, is a graduate of the Institute of Social Prevention and Resocialisation at the University of Warsaw and the Management of Healthcare Organisations postgraduate studies at the Warsaw School of Economics.
Between 1993 and 1995, Mr Czynczyk was the director of ABB (Asea Brown Boveri) Management Development Center, later promoted to the position of Personnel Director, ABB Poland.

Andrzej Artur Czynczyk is not engaged in any competitive activity relative to the activities of Budimex S.A., neither does he participate in a competitive company as a partner in a personal partnership or as a shareholder in a capital company or as a member of the body of any other competitive legal entity.
Andrzej Artur Czynczyk is not listed in the Register of Insolvent Debtors.
