The construction of the Congress Centre in Krakow - Information about the selection of the bid by Budimex SA

The Management Board of Budimex S.A. announces that on 23 August 2011 it received a notification from the Municipality of Krakow on the selection of the bid by the consortium of Budimex S.A. (leader) and Ferrovial Agroman S.A. (partner) as the most favourable bid in the proceedings concerning the public tender procedure known as: "The construction of a building known as the Congress Centre (Rondo Grunwaldzkie) in Krakow - two stages of completion."

• Value of the offer: PLN 257,994,160.00 net
• Commencement date: on the date of concluding the contract
• Deadline: within 35 months from the date of concluding the contract
• Guarantee period: 60 months
• Financial terms and conditions:
  • Payment: 30 days from the date of delivering the invoice to the Contracting Authority
  • Bank guarantee of successful execution: 7% of the gross contractual amount
• Maximum penalties: 20% of the net contract value
• The Contracting Authority is entitled to supplementary compensation which carries the amount of contractual penalties to the amount of damage actually suffered

The value of the offer exceeds 10% of the equity of Budimex SA.
