“Expansion of the IT Centre of the Ministry of Finance – design and construction of a server room with equipment” – selection of the Budimex S.A. bid

The Management Board of Budimex S.A. announces that it has been informed of the selection of the Budimex S.A. bid by the IT Centre of the Ministry of Finance as the most advantageous tender in the public procurement procedure conducted in the form of an open tender for: “Expansion of the IT Centre of the Ministry of Finance – design and construction of a server room with equipment”.

Bid value: PLN 204,792,968.29, net, of which:

a) basic order: PLN 122,268,876.73 net

b) option right order: PLN 82,524,091.56 net

Works commencement date: 

a) for the basic order: from the date of conclusion of the contract

b) for the option right: from the date of submission of a written Statement by the Ordering Party on the exercise of the option right up to 3 months before the date of completion

Works completion date:

a) for the basic order: 31 months from the conclusion of the contract

b) for the option right: 15 months from the date of submission of a written Statement by the Ordering Party on the exercise of the option right

Guarantee period: 36 months from the date of issue of the Work Acceptance Certificate for the entire Works, excluding: LAN network – 25 years of guarantee; construction – 10 years of guarantee; roof sheet tightness – 5 years of guarantee

Warranty period: 60 months from the date of issue of the Work Acceptance Certificate for the entire Works

Advance payment: n/a

Payment terms: payment deadline – 30 days from the day of delivery of a correctly issued VAT invoice to the Ordering Party by the Contractor.

Bank performance bond: 5% of the gross amount specified in the bid

Relevant terms and conditions of the Contract, which are characteristic of this Contract, in particular those which differ from the terms and conditions commonly used for the type of contract:  FIDIC.

Maximum amount of contractual penalty paid by the Contractor: 

a) for the basic scope – 20% of the accepted gross contract amount.

b) for the option right scope – 20% of the accepted gross contract amount.

Charging the contractual penalty stipulated in the Contract does not deprive the Ordering Party of the right to claim compensation on general terms.

Other terms and conditions of the contract do not differ from the market standards.

The bid value exceeds the threshold of PLN 167,645 thousand net.
